High Commission of the Kingdom of Eswatini Participates in the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) in London

The High Commission participated in the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) held at Lancaster House in London on 8 March 2026, under the theme “Unlocking Opportunities Together for a Prosperous Commonwealth.”

Eswatini’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Honourable Pholile Shakantu, was represented by High Commissioner Thandazile Mbuyisa, who joined Foreign Ministers and senior officials from across the Commonwealth to discuss key global challenges and opportunities for enhanced cooperation.

Discussions focused on strengthening economic resilience, promoting sustainable development, and advancing trade and investment across the Commonwealth. The meeting also emphasized the importance of multilateralism and collaboration in addressing issues such as climate change and economic uncertainty.

Eswatini’s delegation contributed to discussions on strengthening Commonwealth cooperation and ensuring that the Commonwealth Advantage continues to support trade, investment, and development among member states.

The meeting forms part of preparations for the 28th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) scheduled to take place in Antigua and Barbuda in November 2026.
